The Reusable Industrial Packaging Association Political Action Committee (RIPA PAC) was formed in 2011 to help ensure that the interests of the reusable industrial packaging industry are represented fully and are regularly conveyed to members of Congress.  RIPA PAC is an independent organization that is governed by a Board of Directors whose members operate .  The current PAC directors are:

William Dworsky, Secretary

Michael Bank

Barry Wingard

RIPA PAC provides information to federal decision-makers on the role of the reusable industrial packaging industry in improving the environment through reduced greenhouse gas emissions, less solid waste disposal, and energy savings. Industrial packaging reuse is more environmentally efficient than recycling. RIPA members collect more than 35 million packagings annually from thousands of business locations in the United States and throughout North America. These packagings are cleaned and put back into commerce for their original purpose. Packagings that are no longer reusable are cleaned, processed, and recycled into other products or even other packagings.

William Dworsky
