See HERE RIPA’s official comments to U.S. OSHA in response to the agency’s  proposal to require public, online reporting of establishment-specific illness and injury data.  The response from industry, generally, has been in opposition to the rule.

RIPA explains that the public posting of injury and illness data could be misconstrued or used in unforeseen ways.  It also could create a disincentive for thorough reporting.
